Synopsis

This intimate portrait of folk-rockers Amy Ray and Emily Saliers (the Indigo Girls) employs underground music videos, live footage and home videos shot by family and friends to tell the story of the duo's rise to fame. During an interview at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Ray and Saliers explain to viewers, in their own words, the inspiration behind their videos. Backstage footage also highlights their early career.
