Gao Wei

Gao Wei is an independent filmmaker and photographer from China who lives between Seoul and Paris since 2015. She graduated from the Beijing Film Academy photography department, previously worked as a photo editor and photo journalist in the media industry in Beijing. She is currently working on still and moving... images involving photography, super 8mm and 16mm film and image experiments. She just had her solo exhibition “Plant Light” both in Paris and in Seoul in 2022. Her short film Flower Rain (2022) was selected for IFFR 2023.
