Jeon Ha-young

Hayoung Jeon is an artist based in Seoul, South Korea. Trained as a filmmaker, she brings her cinematic vision to her experimental media practices in the arts. Her work has been shown at a number of prestigious venues, including: National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Korea, Korean Film Archive,... SeMA Bukseoul Museum, Anthology Film Archives, Stuttgarter Filmwinter, Gene Siskel Film Center, Nanji Exhibition Hall, Artspace Hue, Chicago Int’l Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, Jihlava Int’l Documentary Film Festival, EXiS, Indie Forum, San Francisco Int’l Asian American Film Festival and many other events. She received a BA in Sociology from Korea University, MFA in Film, Video and New Media from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
