KO-SHIN
Nishida Koushin (西田光真) is the guitarist and chorus of WANIMA, and former member of HANIMA. With his childhood friend KENTA, and WAKITA, created WANIMA in Kumamoto. When he was a junior high school student, he was influenced by his senior who was in a punk band and started playing the guitar, and... KENTA, whom he has known since he was three years old, made him join the band because he looked like a guitarist. He started a band with KENTA in order to participate in the junior high school festival, and when he was in high school, he formed HANIMA, the predecessor band of WANIMA. In his childhood, he and KO-SHIN fished and sold fish at the market to escape poverty and hunger. After graduating from high school in 2007, he decided to join the Self-Defense Force until his younger brother graduated from high school due to family reasons, and took a break from music till his military retirement in 2008. In the Self-Defense Force, he was in the missile unit, but changed from missiles to guitars under the motto "turn weapons into instruments". When he reported to his grandmother that he had had his first experience, his grandmother cooked red rice for him. After his retirement, he moved to Tokyo. In January 2021, he changed his name from "KO-SHIN" to "YU_To☆" for a month in a radio game as a punishment. Incidentally, "YU_To☆" was chosen by a public contest.
