Maite Schneider is a transgender woman who has become a notable figure in the fight for inclusion and diversity. Her life's journey is marked by a series of significant achievements and accomplishments, making her an influencer and advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights. From an early age, Maite displayed a strong and determined... personality. She always knew she was different and faced many challenges and discrimination along her path. However, she refused to be discouraged by the difficulties and decided to use her personal experience to make a difference in society. In 2020, Maite was one of the co-founders of EmpoderaTrans, an organization dedicated to empowering transgender women through education, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion initiatives. Additionally, she is also a co-founder of Transgrupo Marcela Prado, established in 2004, and the Brazilian Transgender Association (ABRAT), founded in 2009. These organizations have played a crucial role in promoting the rights and visibility of transgender people in Brazil. With her experience and expertise, Maite has become a motivational and inspirational speaker. She is frequently invited to speak at universities, colleges, schools, institutions, and companies, sharing her story of resilience and raising awareness about the importance of inclusion and diversity. Her work has been recognized on national television programs such as Jô Soares, Pedro Bial, Discovery Channel, Tabu, Canal Brasil, GNT, Luciana Gimenez, Laerte Coutinho, Regina Volpato, among others. Maite is also a highly qualified professional, holding an MBA in Strategic Management, Innovation, and Knowledge. Furthermore, she is a professor in the Diversity in Companies Course at ABERJE, contributing to the education of professionals and leaders committed to inclusion. In addition to her entrepreneurial and consultancy work, Maite is an influencer and ambassador for RME (Rede Mulher Empreendedora), the largest women's entrepreneurship network in Brazil, with over one million women in its network. Her voice and leadership have been instrumental in expanding opportunities and empowering women in the business world. Maite is also actively involved in political and social issues. She is part of the Advisory Committee for the Municipal Program on STD/AIDS and a member of the Parliamentary Front for LGBTQIA+ Rights in the State of São Paulo, where she contributes to the advocacy of LGBTQIA+ rights and well-being. As an author, Maite co-wrote the book "Diversidade, Equidade e Inclusão - tornar simples o que parece complexo" ("Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Making the Complex Simple"), which provides accessible and practical insights into the challenges and benefits of diversity in organizations.
