Marília Colturato was born on December 21, 1987 in Botucatu, São Paulo, Brazil. She started acting at the age of ten and performed with many theatre companies. She also worked as a circus performer for a few years. After attending one the most prestigious drama schools in São Paulo (Teatro-Escola... Célia Helena) for three years and graduating as a Fine Artist at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP), she moved to Los Angeles where she studied at the famous Stella Adler Academy of Acting, completing the two year acting conservatory program.
