Olena Newkryta

Olena Newkryta is a Ukrainian-Austrian visual artist based in Vienna, whose interdisciplinary work includes photography, moving image and installations. She studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna as well as at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. She is member of the Golden Pixel Cooperative - association for moving... images and media art. Newkryta’s works have been presented at international exhibitions and screenings, including VISIO - Lo schermo dell´arte, Kunstforum Wien, Fotogalerie Wien, Kunsthalle Wien, Salzburger Kunstverein, Vienna Contemporary, Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz, Crossing Europe Filmfestival, Belvedere21 Vienna and WORM Rotterdam.
