Sajad Yemeni

Sajad was born in 2001 in Mashhad. Until he was fifteen years old, he somewhat aspired to be a soccer player. However, after turning fifteen, everything changed for him. He discovered art. Now, he watches movies instead of football. Instead of playing football, he makes and analyzes films. From the... age of 15 to 18, he studied at the School of Fine Arts (Cinema Arts). After that, he moved to Tehran and attended Tehran Azad University. Since it was not his preferred university, he did not complete his studies there. So, he decided to migrate again, this time to a place where he could make his own films. He immigrated to Austria at the age of 22. During these migrations, he continued his work in filmmaking and cinema studies. He is currently working in the experimental films section of Zed Arte.
