Sarah Trad
Sarah Trad is a Lebanese American artist and curator working mainly in video and fibres. After graduating with a BFA in Art Film from Syracuse University, she was awarded the University’s Post Baccalaureate Engagement Fellowship, where she worked as a curatorial associate at The Warehouse Gallery and Community Folk Art... Center and under Helen Molesworth at the ICA/Boston. Trad was previously a member of the Philly-based artist-run gallery Little Berlin where she has initiated curatorial exchanges with other artist-run collectives in New Orleans and Ottawa. Her work has been shown at the William Way Center, Standard Space, the Torpedo Factory, The Front, and the Everson Museum of Art. Her films have been screened internationally at festivals such as the Toronto Arab Film Festival, Big Muddy Film Festival , MENA Film Festival, Strangelove Time-Based Media Festival and Rendezvous With Madness. She currently lives with her German Shepherd, Vulcan in Philadelphia, PA.
