Vincent Vaury was born and raised in Verneuil-sur-Avre in Normandy before moving to Greece where he made several audiovisual projects. Back in France, he made La Fugue, which was inspired by the lives of his childhood friends and the area he grew up in. La Fugue was made in 2023... and is his first fiction film.
