Hiroko Kazui
Since starting to work as an assistant animator from junior college age, Hiroko Kazui has worked in the animation field not only in Japan but also in Canada for more than thirty years. She's participated in many animation TV series and feature films such as “Ranma Nibun-no-ichi,” and ”Keroro Gunsou”... as an animator, storyboard artist, director or writer. A set of anime characters she designed, called ”Moe characters loved not only by kids but also grown-ups,” was drawn on the “Moe Bus,” operating around Shibuya and Nerima in 2006. Some of the works she's taken part in have won an Academy Award nomination candidacy, a grand prize awarded by Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs, and the Good Design Award.
