Other performers includes Blondie, Capital Cities, Miley Cyrus, Daughtry, Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Icona Pop, Enrique Iglesias, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke and The Fray.

Taylor Swift and Florida Georgia Line headlined from Times Square for the 2014-15 edition of New Year's Rockin Eve; they were among 38 acts featured in total during the special. Fergie hosted the re-christened Billboard Hollywood Party segments of the special, and also performed. The special featured studio appearances by Bastille, Charli XCX, Idina Menzel, Iggy Azalea, Magic!, Meghan Trainor, One Direction, Pentatonix, Ella Henderson, and Rixton. The special featured live performances by Gavin DeGraw and Lady Antebellum from Nashville's Bash on Broadway, and a performance by Elton John from his New Year's concert at Barclays Center.

This year marks the continued expansion of the iconic annual New Year's Eve tradition with coverage from New Orleans, Louisiana, in its first-ever Central Time Zone countdown. The live segments will include exclusive performances from the Allstate Fan Fest, where New Orleans locals and tourists gather annually to celebrate the New Year and usher in the annual Allstate Sugar Bowl, and interviews leading up to the midnight countdown and stunning fleur-de-lis drop near Jackson Square to ring in the New Year.
