In part 1, hear from former President Barack Obama and artist Kehinde Wiley, and discover how the portraits have fired imaginations and creativity coast-to-coast. Meet A-list floral designer Maurice Harris, whose Los Angeles studio works with Hollywood stars, as he prepares a spectacular interactive experience for opening day. Get to know an educator and Obama campaign volunteer who preserves mementos for her grandkids -- and makes a pilgrimage to view the portraits at the Art Institute of Chicago. And hear from a young artist inspired by Obama to give back to fellow South Side Chicagoans through writing and mentorship.

In part 2, follow the Obama Portraits to New York, Atlanta, and Houston, as they continue a cross-country tour. Hear from former First Lady Michelle Obama and artist Amy Sherald, and meet remarkable Americans finding hope and inspiration in these works of art. A community organizer in Houston draws strength from the Obamas' example as she works to register fellow Latinx voters. Middle-school art students in Atlanta learn about portraiture -- and themselves -- through the paintings of Barack and Michelle Obama. And a multigenerational group of Black sorority sisters see legacy and hope for the future as the portraits reach their hometown of Brooklyn.
