Synopsis
The "Afghan syndrome" is the diagnosis of the last generation of Soviet people. This is one of the reasons for the death of the country in which they lived. Since then, Afghanistan has become no stranger to us — and remains so decades later. We perceive any news and stories from there as concerning us.
